EMU Preservation,
Together As One.
The Alternating Current Multiple Unit (A.C.M.U.) Society was formed in 2025 as the formal merger between two railway preservation groups, the Clacton Express Preservation Group and the Class 315 Preservation Society.
Our core mission is to bring unity to EMU preservation, an often overlooked corner of railway preservation. We do this by forging strategic partnerships with organisations to bring in dedicated marketing, promotion and financial support to a variety of AC EMUs.
